Dr. Ryland Gore is a board-certified, fellowship-trained surgeon in breast surgical oncology who specializes in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of benign and cancerous breast cancers, as well as all breast-related disorders. A highly-trained physician skilled in advanced breast surgery procedures and minimally-invasive techniques, Dr. Gore treats each patient with the highest standard of care, serving them with compassion and empathy.
A native of Atlanta, Dr. Gore grew up in nearby Stone Mountain, and received her undergraduate education at Furman University in South Carolina, graduating cum lade. She then received her Master of Public Health at The George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services in Washington D.C. before returning to Atlanta, where she completed her medical education at the Morehouse University School of Medicine, graduating cum laude. Dr. Gore then completed her residency in general surgery at the Rush University Medical Center and John H. Stroger Cook County Hospital in Chicago before completing a Breast Oncology Fellowship at the Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Gore is actively involved in studies on breast cancer, has had her research published numerous times and has served in community outreach programs as an advocate to help spread breast cancer awareness. In her free time, she enjoys painting, jazz, visiting aquariums and museums and traveling on road trips.
