North Atlanta Breast Care is an integral part of the Northside Hospital Cancer Institute (NHCI) Breast Cancer Program, which ranks among the top five breast cancer programs in the nation. That means that, you, our patient, benefit from the combined expertise of Georgia’s largest network of cancer specialists and access to groundbreaking breast cancer clinical trials, as well as advanced breast cancer treatments available including chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
Our physicians are part of the NHCI Breast Cancer Program's multidisciplinary team of breast oncology specialists. The team meets each week at a multidisciplinary conference to review radiology and pathology images and discuss the best cancer treatment options, including clinical trials, and develop an evidence-based treatment plan for each patient. By prospectively discussing cancer cases during these meetings, our breast cancer patients get the benefit of more than a dozen expert medical opinions.
